The $1,500 award honors a young person who shows commitment to the American Saddlebred and excellence in their community.
The American Saddlebred Museum is now accepting applications for the 2027 Keith Bartz Impact Scholarship Award. Applications are due December 31, 2026, and should be emailed to museum@asbmuseum.org.
The award provides $1,500, paid directly to the recipient's institution, university, college, or trade school, to help cover post-secondary educational expenses. It is presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to the American Saddlebred and to excellence in their community.
The scholarship honors the legacy of Keith Bartz, the Museum’s former Executive Director. Bartz devoted his time, talent, and resources to building the American Saddlebred Museum and celebrating the American Saddlebred breed. His commitment to excellence and hard work helped build the Museum as it is known today. The scholarship celebrates his life by honoring a young person who carries forward the same character and spirit of service.
