Lexington, KY—The American Saddlebred Museum is pleased to announce the successful completion of its activities during the 2025 Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show (WCHS), highlighting the Museum’s commitment to preserving the traditions and promoting the heritage of the American Saddlebred.
Wednesday Night Party & Pageant
The Museum hosted its annual Wednesday Night Party featuring the crowning of the 2025 Ms. and Mr. American Saddlebred. Congratulations to Allison Deardorff, Ms. American Saddlebred, and Keith Harger, Mr. American Saddlebred. The Museum extends its gratitude to contestants Rob Byers, Chad Cole, Allison Deardorff, Tammy DeVore, Keith Harger, Joe Kinnarney, Lindsey Lightner, Matt Lightner, Mary Orr, and Doug Shiflet; judges Jeffrey Fetzer, George Anne Nash, and Amy Dix Rock; emcees Toad and Logan Herrin; and the Young Adult Advisory Council for organizing the entertainment. Champion’s Hats Sponsorship
The Museum and its Board of Trustees proudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of sponsoring the iconic WCHS Champion’s Hats presented to World’s Championship Horse Show champions. To commemorate this milestone, the Museum introduced a limited-edition 10th Anniversary Zip-Up Sweatshirt featuring the 2025 WCHS hat color and original American Saddlebred art by Andy Johns.
Junior Exhibitor Champions: Saddlebred Sidewalk Bricks
Continuing its tradition of honoring young exhibitors, the Museum’s Trustees sponsored commemorative bricks on the Saddlebred Sidewalk awarded to winners in the Junior Exhibitor Championship classes.
Freedom Hall Historic Trophies Display
The Museum showcased a display of historic trophies, ribbons, and photographs from its permanent collection in Freedom Hall, highlighting the breed’s rich history.
Gift Shop Pop-Up
The Museum’s gift shop pop-up in the North Wing offered fairgoers the opportunity to purchase Saddlebred-inspired merchandise while being introduced to the Museum and the American Saddlebred breed.
Through these activities, the American Saddlebred Museum continues to engage the public and equine community while celebrating the traditions of the American Saddlebred.
