In 1941, Whirlaway became the fifth Triple Crown winner. Nicknamed ÔÇ£Mr. LongtailÔÇØ for his unusually thick and long tail, Whirlaway had a penchant for running all over the track. His jockey, Eddie Arcaro, is the only jockey to have ridden two Triple Crown winners, Whirlaway and Citation, both owned by Calumet Farm.
